Community Events

Through your support, GBPT has been able to provide our unique style of Physical Therapy for more than 20 years. Independently owned, we combine traditional and alternative approaches to patient care, consistently resulting in great patient outcomes. In a recent survey, 87% of our patients felt we had helped improve their symptoms by an average of 84%. And 100% indicated they would return to GBPT if in need of care in the future.

In 2010, we will continue our tradition of giving back to our Community. On May 26th and June 23rd, from 1-6 pm, we will offer GBPT “Heal-a-Thons”, where donations will be accepted from those wishing to receive treatment from a PT, Massage Therapist, or a Reiki Master while, at the same time, supporting a worthy cause.

Proceeds will be donated locally, to a family in need of assistance due to extensive medical expenses, and globally, with proceeds forwarded to the Interpeace Orphanage, in Haiti.

This Summer and Fall, we will again host “Free Healing Clinics”; free treatment for those in need of care but who are without health insurance.

You have the right to choose the Physical Therapy provider you feel will best meet your individual needs. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the positive,“word-of-mouth” support we have received from the community over the years, and pledge to continue to find meaningful ways to give back to you and the community.

Sincerely,
Donna Maria Bordeaux, P.T., co-owner & Peter Cooper, P.T., M.S., co-owner

"I'm Glad I Chose Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy."
~ Betsy Fear, Bath

Betsy Fear had pain and numbness in her hands for years, and was eventually diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. "I'd tried everything from acupuncture to massage, chiropractors to physical therapists. In my quest for relief, I bid on a Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy gift certificate at a fund raising auction. I felt results after the first session. Debbie Casterlin did something no one had ever done—stretching my nerves in a new way. She also took the time to explain body mechanics, suggesting changes in my posture and daily movements. I no longer wake up in agony in the middle of the night, and the recurrence of numbness is far less."
