Carl Painchaud-Compton, ACSM-HFS
Carl Joined the Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy staff in 2012 after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science and kinesiology from the University of Maine at Orono. In his work to advance patients’ rehab programs, Carl also puts great emphasis on educating patients about correct posture and body mechanics, so both specific exercises and activities of daily living are done safely and efficiently.
Carl is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist. This advanced training allows him to work effectively with patients with co-morbidities such as heart disease, diabetes and hypertension. Carl is also available to see patients on a one-on-one basis to further advance their overall fitness and achieve their short and long term health goals.
In his free time, Carl enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends and family. He also loves playing sports and supporting his favorite Boston teams.
