Donna Henry, PT Aide
I have worked with Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Aide since 1995. Before joining GBPT, I worked for the YMCA in Bath as a fitness technician and instructed aerobic classes. I am responsible for assisting the physical therapists with patient care as well as other various duties around the clinic. I enjoy helping people during their healing process.
As we are encouraged to continue our education in the health care field, I have taken courses in CranioSacral Therapy 1 & 2, Myofascial Release and learned the ancient art of Reiki, levels 1, 2 and 3. I’ve been trained by the therapists using numerous techniques of massage therapy that help patients with tense and aching muscles to relax. Decreasing a patient’s overall level of stress further promotes healing and leaves you with renewed energy. I also enjoy learning about nutrition and how it pertains to the health and wellness of the human body. This prompted me to further my education in nutrition at SMTC.
I own a home in Bath and have three children who are now young adults; Kristine, Jennifer and Justin. My hobbies and interests are nutrition, jogging, hiking and kayaking. Also, I have a great love for all furry critters. I have raised four dogs and two cats that have lived long and wonderful lives.
