I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 1992.  My first job consisted of working with neurologically involved patients at a Rehabilitation facility in Waterville.  Since that time, I have worked exclusively in a variety of outpatient Physical Therapy clinics, primarily with an orthopedic population, and joined Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy in 1995.

I became interested in physical therapy as a teenager when I learned my mother had received physical therapy care for a year while recovering from a debilitating illness in her early twenties.  My love for my work, and passion to help others, is the motivating factor behind my commitment towards ongoing, post graduate education.  It is through this additional training that I found my true passion; manual therapy, specifically, Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT).  I am humbled by how such gentle techniques can so effectively release “holding patterns” throughout the body, allowing my patients to function more freely and efficiently.

I am so fortunate to be working with such a supportive group of people.  I was working at GBPT’s Brunswick location when I decided to start my family.  To facilitate working closer to my home, the possibility of setting up a satellite office here in Auburn was discussed.  As a result, I opened the Auburn location of Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy in May of 2004.   I enjoy living in Auburn, the town where I was raised, with my husband and two wonderful daughters.  It is nice to be home!
