Dominique McLaughlin, PT, DPT

In 2012, Dominique received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from the University of Maine while also skating for the NCAA Division I Women’s Ice Hockey team. Dominique worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor while pursuing her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. She attended Western Kentucky University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016.

Dominique understands that medical education is an ongoing process and, as such, continues to supplement her university education with courses that include:

  • NAIOMT- Upper extremity

  • Vasyli Medical Biomechanics Academy- Custom Heat-Moldable Orthotics

  • Hands-On Guide to Vestibular Rehabilitation: Clinical Decision Making to Treat Vertigo, Dizziness & Balance Disorders

  • Craniosacral Therapy 1- The Upledger Institute

Dominique is certified in customized orthotics, IASTM Graston technique, and is CPR certified.

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Dominique resides in Maine with her husband, infant son, and working Cocker Spaniel. Dominique enjoys playing hockey, traveling, most outdoor activities, and keeping up with her favorite sports teams. 

Dominique believes in establishing a strong rapport with her patients to ensure they have the best outcome and leave with more knowledge and confidence.
