A native Rhode Island, I now reside in Portland, Maine, where I earned my doctorate from the University of New England. My clinical experience focused on orthopedics, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, and manual therapy. I draw on my own personal fitness experience with Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Olympic style lifting, HIIT, and Muay-Thai to expand my interventions. My love of music and guitar playing led me to earn a Bachelor of Music with emphasis in Sound Recording Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. However, I switched gears to pursue a career in physical therapy after rehabbing an injury and discovering the transformative power of physical therapy.
I strongly believe in creating individual treatment plans for each patient based upon their unique goals and lifestyle. I am driven by a desire to help each patient reach their full potential. I feel that quality care requires truly listening with empathy and compassion to my patients. Teamwork between patient and practitioner is the best recipe for successful outcomes.
I began my career with Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy in 2017. In my free time I enjoy exploring my new home state of Maine, playing hockey and cross country skiing. An eater and home chef, I also appreciate a good food tip.
